London Symphony Orchestra New York Concert reviews
Rod Stewart
Rod Stewart remains a talented entertainer with much energy and continues to entertain with his great singing without needing all the flashy 'bling-bling' that less talented individuals rely on. The crowd at the Sprint Center was fantastic, ranging from the very young to the elderly, with various groups attending, including husbands and wives, newlyweds, mothers with their daughters, and young men with their moms and grandmas. I first saw him perform 35 years ago at Kemper, and I still remember that show as well as this one. His spunky personality adds to the excitement of his performances. The drum dual was outstanding and brought a rock vibe to the stage at the Sprint Center, showcasing NKC talent. It was a fantastic experience for everyone who came.
Gaffigan in Knoxville
I am a fan of his, so last night was my 2nd Gaffigan show. I hate to even say it but I was a little disappointed. His jokes pretty much centered around being a family man and the pandemic. They were funny. He started right on time at 8:00. Then at 9:00, he walked off the stage rather abruptly. No one moved for a few minutes because we thought he was taking a break and would come back. Basically said bye and walked off. Paying almost $350 for 4 tickets for just an hour seemed a bit much.
